Ask others to think about “spaceflight or extinction”. Although spaceflight is a frequent topic in the media, the thoughts expressed in this web site are not widely known. The goal to “increase our survival prospects by colonizing space” should be discussed wherever spaceflight is mentioned: web sites, newspapers, magazines, television, film, etc.
Ask your legislator to support space programs and human spaceflight. In the United States, the current space plan is the Vision for Space Exploration. Supporters include the Coalition for Space Exploration and the Space Exploration Alliance. Web sites such as Project Vote Smart and Congress.org may be useful.
Consider space when investing. When deciding which company to invest in, add “advancement of spaceflight” to your criteria. See HobbySpace - Investing.
Buy space goods and services. Commercial spaceflight companies will conduct regular suborbital spaceflights within a few years. See HobbySpace - Tourism.
Join and/or donate to space organizations. Although many space organizations share the goal of colonization, they disagree on the best way to get there. Choose organizations with the best results. See Open Directory - Space Organizations and Associations and HobbySpace - Activism.
